Rock on! Atlanta will welcome The Black Keys, Smashing Pumpkins and The Strokes as co-headliners for the eighth annual Shaky Knees Festival next year.

The event is set to take over Atlanta's Central Park area May 1-3, featuring over 65 bands on four stages. The lineup is a little more alt-rock leaning, but does include such acts as Joan Jett & The Blackhearts, Angels & Airwaves, Royal Blood, The Darkness, Dinosaur Pile-Up, All Them Witches, White Reaper, Des Rocs, Amigo the Devil, Bones UK and more bringing grittier sounds to the stage.

In addition, alt-rock superstars like Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Portugal. The Man, Of Monsters & Men, Liam Gallagher and Brittany Howard will also take the stage over the weekend.

“I am really excited to bring our fans a lineup that continues to celebrate both up and coming acts and established powerhouses like the return of headliner The Strokes and first-time headliners The Black Keys and The Smashing Pumpkins. To be able to produce a world-class festival in my hometown of Atlanta year after year is truly special,” says Shaky Knees founder, Tim Sweetwood.

General admission tickets, VIP packages and platinum tickets are all on sale now. Head over to the Shaky Knees Festival website for details, and be aware the prices will increase closer to the festival date.
