Paul Walker Sr. was interviewed yesterday in which he broke down saying,

“I’m just glad that every time I saw him, I told him I loved him.  And he would say the same thing to me….His heart was so big.  I was proud of him every day of his life.”

In another interview, he spoke of his son's acts of kindness and charity that he did all the time, but never wanted anyone to know of it.  Walker Sr. mentioned that his son almost liked people not knowing it was him who did the kind gesture.  He also stated:

“He was really a kind person…I was just told that my son gave a Marine a diamond ring to give to…the gal he was gonna marry.”

In the interview, Mr. Walker said despite being a difficult time for his granddaughter, Paul's 15-year old daughter Meadow, her family and friends are taking good care of her.

A statement has been issued from Paul’s family thanking friends and fans for their "outpouring of love and goodwill."  Anyone who wants to honor Paul’s memory, can make a donation to his charity, Reach Out Worldwide, which benefits those affected by the typhoon in the Philippines.
